MostCare®Up: The Most Advanced mini-Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring System
Real-time, beat-to-beat monitoring for personalized cardiovascular management
MostCare®Up is an innovative hemodynamic monitor designed to provide the most advanced information on a patient’s hemodynamic balance, in real time and beat by beat.
Starting from the arterial pressure waveform, MostCare®Up analyzes and interprets data to support the precise and reliable monitoring of a wide range of patients.
This is possible thanks to the implemented PRAM patented algorithm which allows a precise analysis of each single arterial pressure beat, independently from any kind of calibration.
Indeed, the patient situation can change often and quickly, depending on his cardiovascular balance and medical or surgical interventions.
In this situation, only a system like MostCare®Up, which relies on real-time and precise data rather than external or outdated factors, allows a timely and accurate assessment of the patient, enabling the physician to make the right decisions.
The response of the patient to the treatments can also be analysed through the specific Do & Check function. Then, the monitor can be efficiently used also on the widest range of patients, both in age or pathology.
The algorithm also processes some specific and advanced data and parameters (like Dicrotic Pressure, Arterial Elastance, dp/dtmax and Cardiac Cycle Efficiency) enhancing the quality of the information provided.
Moreover, the quality of the arterial signal can be taken under control thanks to the unique Dynamic Filter.
The machine does not require any dedicated disposable, allowing easy and environmentally friendly applications.
The monitor can be activated in different modes of functioning (Endless or On demand, in this case patient or time based) making it adaptable and therefore the most convenient for every type of use.
HOW IT WORKS
MostCare®Up is connected to almost any arterial pressure transducer in order to receive the pressure signal coming from the patient artery (usually the radial one, but also other arteries can be used).
The signal is then analysed by the PRAM™ algorithm, continuously and beat to beat at 1 kHz, which returns a wide range of data and parameters, useful to achieve a complete understanding of the patient’s condition.
In addition to Cardiac Output (CO), the monitor provides a full range of parameters to analyze all the main aspects of the patient’s hemodynamics: heart rate, preload, contractility and afterload, as well as the overall efficiency of the cardiovascular system.

The screen shows the pressure curve, and a number of parameters and trends which are selectable and customizable.
One of the main pieces of information, is the presence of the green bar identifying the dicrotic notch, which is the pressure when the aortic valve closes, then defining the end of the systolic phase: it shows that the beat has been properly identified and analyzed.
The dynamic filter analyzes the pressure curve and, if detecting artefacts due to underdamping of the signal, it corrects the anomaly restoring the quality of the data provided.

FEATURES HW
MostCare® is a modern hemodynamic monitor, with intuitive user interface and granting the widest flexibility of use
Endless or On Demand Versions
MOSTCARE®Up has different configurations to adapt to all kinds of customer’s exigencies.
It could be available in Endless version, allowing unlimited monitoring, or On Demand.
This last is activated by Cards enabling usage for different number of patients (from 1 to 50) or time periods (from 1 day to 1 year).
Modern design and interfaces
MOSTCARE®Up is a modern device, lightweight and transportable, with 12″ LCD Touch Screen monitor and an intuitive user interface.
It is equipped with full connectivity options: USB, HDMI, LAN and Wifi, also allowing data transfer through HL7 protocol.
Cables options
MOSTCARE®Up can take the pressure signal by a pressure transducer by cables granting the link with all most diffused transducers’ brands.
It can also be connected directly to the monitors having an analog pressure signal output.
To allow the monitoring without losing the signal in the main multiparametric monitor, a range of Y cables are also available.
PRAM™ powered technology
MOSTCARE®Up software is based on the PRAM™ algorithm, allowing precise detection of the pressure curve and generation of a full range of hemodynamic parameters and trends.
This allows to monitor the widest range of patients even in difficult conditions (mechanically supported by IABP or ECMO; sepsis; neonates; …).
Dynamic filter
The dynamic filter enables the monitoring even when the quality of the pressure signal is affected by underdamping or when the signal is perturbated.
